I wrote this book for you.

My Own Magic

At thirty years old, my husband left me and with him vanished my job, home, and future. I was devastated, ashamed, and most of all - terrified. I had built my entire world and identity around my relationship, and now, without it, I felt lost. At my lowest moment, all I wanted was to believe that I would come out of this happier, stronger, and better off. But I didn’t know anyone who had been through what I was going through, or could relate to how I felt. I believe there is power in sharing our stories - especially the difficult ones. I wrote mine so that it might help anyone who feels invisible to feel seen, make anyone who feels alone feel heard, and inspire anyone who feels lost to find their their own magic.

Book Tour

Since my book launched in May 2023, I have done over 23 events across 14 US cities, 5 countries, and even one in the sky!. Each event has been entirely unique, special, and attended by over 100 amazing women (and the occasional, brave man). I’ve done a book launch, boat cruises in the New York City harbor, signed books over macarons in Ladurée Beverly Hills, read passages over cocktails in book-themed bar on Grand Cayman, hosted a Galentine’s party in Paris’ oldest flower shop, shut down the Longchamp store on Regent Street for a night of rosé and dancing, spoken at my alumni, FIT - and had an exclusive book-signing in the sky! That’s just a glimpse of it. As 2024 continues, I’m planning to keep doing pop-up events across North America, Europe, and wherever else I can go.

Live your Life

Live Your Life is Amanda and Nick’s story: of their love and fairy-tale marriage, of the disease that quickly upended it, of the fight for Nick’s survival—those sudden tragic months that permanently changed her world and ours—of her grief and how she came to terms with his death, of keeping Nick’s memory alive for Elvis and the world.
Offering courage and inspiration to anyone coping with overwhelming loss and written with her sister Anna Kloots who was with her every step of this journey, Amanda’s story is a thoughtful and poignant reflection on love, hope, motherhood, and the power of community in times of hardship. In sharing her experience, she shows us that, through positivity and community, even the most impossible circumstances can be endured.
Anna is currently working with her sister Amanda and Di Novi Pictures to adapt Live Your Life into a screenplay.
